Dr. Hilfer has spent the last 41 years at Maimonides Medical Center where he is currently the Chief Psychologist, The Director of Clinical Psychology Internship Training and the Associate Director of the Child and Adolescent Unit. Dr. Hilfer also taught as an adjunct assistant professor at Yeshiva University and City College in the 1980’s and has represented Maimonides Medical Center in the media for the past 25 years.
David Miller received his doctorate in 1992 from Hofstra University’s School/Clinical Psychology program where he pursued his interests in social learning theory and cognitive behavioral interventions for children and adults. During his tenure at Hofstra University, he completed a school psychology internship, spanning elementary, middle and high school, as well as a clinical internship at the Institute for Behavior Therapy (IBT).
